01. Basmati rice - 3 cups For the ground paste |

| 01. Grind the dry red chillies, coriander powder, ginger – garlic paste, shallots, cumin seeds, loves and cinnamon, combine with the coconut milk and keep aside. 02. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. 03. Now, add the rice and stir fry till it turns slightly brown. 04. Add the coconut milk and salt to taste and cook till done. 05. Heat a pan, fry the sliced onions in oil and keep aside. 06. Take a vessel, grease it with ghee, transfer the rice to it and sprinkle the lemon juice over it. Add the saffron. 07. Cover the rice with a wet cloth and bake in an oven at 350° F for 30 minutes. 08. Garnish with fried onions serve hot. |
