Kasaragod is a municipal town and administrative headquarters of Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. Established in 1966, Kasaragod was the first municipal town in the district. It is the northernmost district of Kerala and is also known as Saptha Bhasha Sangama Bhoomi (The Land of seven Languages).

കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വടക്കു ഭാഗത്തുള്ള ജില്ലയാണ് കാസർകോട് ജില്ല. ഒരു ബഹുഭാഷാപ്രദേശമാണ് കാസർകോട് . ഇവിടെയുള്ളവർ ഏഴിൽക്കൂടുതൽ വ്യത്യസ്ത ഭാഷകൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. മലയാളം, കന്നഡ ഔദ്യോഗികഭാഷയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും തുളു, കൊങ്കണി, ബ്യാരി, മറാഠി, കൊറഗഭാഷ, ഉർദു എന്നീ ഭാഷകളും സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
